Behaviour

We recognise that behaviour is a form of communication and that consistently safe, predictable, and compassionate relationships enable children to learn new skills for regulation and repair. Our practice is informed by evidence and sector guidance (e.g., UK Trauma Council and the Anna Freud Centre) and the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) recommendations on improving behaviour.

We regularly teach and rehearse our school expectations across the school, using visual supports and Makaton signs to help embed them into everyday practice.
