Who We Are

The Friends of Banwell Primary PTA is a registered charity made up of parents, carers, teachers and supporters who work together to enrich school life and raise funds to benefit all children at the school.

Our aim is to build a strong school community while supporting projects, equipment and experiences that enhance the children’s education and wellbeing.

What We Do

Throughout the year we organise a variety of fundraising and community events, which may include:
• School discos
• Summer and Christmas fairs
• Bingo nights
• Cake sales
• Raffles and tombolas
• Uniform sales

These events help raise valuable funds while also bringing families, staff and the wider community together.

How the Funds Are Used

Funds raised by the PTA go directly back into supporting the school and enhancing opportunities for the children.

Recent projects and contributions include:

• 20 Tablets - £2000
• Development of Forest School Area -£1500
• Class Libraries - £1000
• Author visit on World Book Day - £250
• PE Benches - £711
• Basketball Nets - £98

We work closely with the school leadership team to identify where support can have the greatest impact.

Get Involved

The PTA is always looking for new ideas, volunteers and supporters. You do not need to commit large amounts of time to get involved — even helping for an hour at an event can make a huge difference.

There are many ways to support us:

• Volunteer at events
• Join the PTA committee
• Help behind the scenes
• Donate prizes or supplies
• Support fundraising initiatives
• Attend events with your family
