School Times

Please ensure that your child arrives at school in time to be punctual for the start of the day, but not so early that they have a long wait in the playground.

7:45 am                   Breakfast Club

8.40 am                   Gates open

8.50 am                   School starts

9.00 am                   Marked as late

10.30 - 10.45 am     Break time for Year 2-6

12.00 - 1.00 pm       EYFS and Key Stage 1 lunchtime

12.10 - 1.10 pm       Key Stage 2 lunchtime

3.20 pm                   End of school day for all pupils

The 32.5 hour minimum expectation includes the time in each day from the official start of the school day (i.e. morning registration) to the official end to the compulsory school day (i.e. official home time). The 32.5 hour minimum includes breaks and lunch times as well as teaching time and any extra-curricular activities that all pupils are expected to attend. It does not include optional before or after school provision.

We are committed to encouraging children to attend school regularly and on time. Research shows that there is a direct link between good attendance and achievement in school. Poor attendance can have a direct effect on attainment and future life chances. It is vital that good habits start when children are young.
